Free Chinese Language course from 9th Dec., 2019.

UILCTI is pleased to provide free Chinese Mandarin Language course for students and other interested general public. The given free course will be starting from 9th December 2019 as scheduled in below given timing.

1st Shift: 2 pm ~ 4 pm

2nd Shift: 6 pm ~ 8 pm

The classes will be conducted two shifts in a day, 1st shift & 2nd shift. The candidate can join for either of the shift, he/she cannot join both the shifts i.e the given class will be taken two hours in a day.

Note***:

  1. All the candidates have to pay a guide book and other utilities charges of Nu.2,500/- before joining the class hence, only then he/she can attend the given free Chinese Mandarin language course of one month.
  2. He/she can continue for basic course which is of two more months after completion of one month free course by paying a normal course fee of Nu.5,000/- or Nu.9,000/- per month. (Nu.5,000/- for alternative daily class and Nu.9,000/- for continuously daily class)

Trekking Guide Course from 18th December 2019.

Trekking guide course will be starting from 18th December 2019, a month complementary Chinese Mandarin language course will be given as well.

The given course objective is to provide quality & effective training to the trainees with the motive to produce 100% competent trainees. With this motive we have also produced 100% competent trainees in our previous training. Therefore, for future interested trainees also we can assure 99% that you will be competent in your assessment with our same trainer.

Duration: 47 working days

Fees: Nu.39,000/-

Mr. Sangay Dorji have been working in Tourism industry since 1990’s and with that he not only have the experience of both Cultural and Trekking guide but also have lots of experience in the field of final assessment which is conducted by MoLHR. 1. Cultural Tourist Guide Course NC-II

Cultural Tourist guide course starts from 2nd December 2019, with compliment Chinese Mandarin Language course/Spanish language course.

Duration: 86 working days

Fees structure: Nu.30,000/- payable in two installment (3 installment payment will be accepted in special cases)

2. Trekking Guide Course NC-III

3. Tuition Class for Classes 10 & 12.

Tuition class for classes 10 & 12 students will starts from 16th Dec, 2019. The given tuition classes will be taking 2 hours everyday except Saturday & Sunday. The daily class will start from 9 am.

All the teachers are of well experienced hired from Government schools & some from renounced private schools.

The institute will be taking only minimal numbers of students i.e 50 students in three classroom to insure quality teaching for the benefits of the students.

4.  Chinese Mandarin Language Course.

Both written & spoken Chinese Mandarin language course will be starting from 9th Dec., 2019. Following are the courses offered in the institute.

Note:

1. A discount will be offered to school going students.  Fee for school students is Nu.3,000/- per month.

2. For other interested candidates, if the number of trainees exceeds more than 10 a fee of Nu.5,000/- will be accepted per month. However, if the number is less than 10 then a fee of Nu.9,000/- has to be paid per month.

              i. Basic Chinese mandarin language course

The course will be of 3 months where in the speculated time basic conversation and reading Chinese character will be taught.

              ii. Intermediate Chinese Mandarin language course

The intermediate course will take 3 months of duration after completion of Basic course. In this course you will be learning more of conversation and reading of Chinese character.

              iii. Advance Chinese Mandarin language course

After completion of Intermediate course you may join for the Advance course. In the advance course you will be learning more than 350 characters and vocabularies. And also the teaching and learning session conversation will be in spoken Chinese Mandarin Language.

              iv. Buddhism & Iconography in Chinese Mandarin language (Diploma).

On the successful completion of Advance course one can also opt for diploma in Chinese Mandarin language. In this course you will be learning more than 300 Buddhism  & Iconography terminologies.  The course will be conducted only in Chinese Mandarin language.

5. German language & French Language Course

German language and French language will be taught by the foreign trainer. The trainer is specialized in the given languages hence, quality training is insured. Therefore, genuinely interested candidates can visit to the office for the registration.

Duration: 3 Months

Fees: Nu.10,000/- per month.

6.  English Language Course for Monks and Nuns

Intensive English language course for monks and nuns will be taking 3 months of duration, where both written and spoken language will be taught during the course.

Start Date: 1st January 2020.

Duration: 3 Months

Preliminary coaching class will start from 1st July 2019 for the duration of 2 weeks. The classes will be conducted by the well experienced trainers who have been doing the same for last 15 years and their main motive is to make trainees well aware and prepared for the exam.

In their previous training they also produced 90% passed result.

Objectives of the Coaching;

  • To help students prepare for the Bhutan Civil Service Examinations (BCSE) by exploring subject matters for BCSE Preliminary Examinations (PE).
  • To help the students appearing 2019 Bhutan Civil Service Examinations (BCSE) PE get prepared along with hands on practice.
  • Provide free coaching package with the professional skills such as covering letters, writing CV, viva/interview skills, and job interview techniques for career enhancement.

Tuition class is still going on with certain numbers of students from different schools in Thimphu. This courses are always conducted during winter vacation and summer vacation.

The tuition duration and closing date of registration are given below. Carefully go through it, understand it and plan accordingly to register for your course:

  1. Tuition for 6 weeks – register on or before Dec. 14th, 2017.
  2. Tuition for 5 weeks – register on or before Dec. 21st, 2017.

2. Chinese Language Course for students, discount in Fees’.

The institute now gives Mandarin Chinese Language course for students at a discount rate. So, all the interested students from all over the Dzongkhags can apply for the course. After completion of the course the student will be giving a Chinese language course certificate.

1. One month Course: Starts from January 1st, 2018 – register on or before December 31st, 2018.

Note: Students can also take a course for two weeks however, certificate will not be giving for two weeks course.

Timing of the classes per day: There are three shifts in a day they are as follows:

  1. Morning Shift:     10:00 a.m – 12:00 p.m
  2. Afternoon Shift:   2:00 p.m – 4:00 p.m
  3. Evening Shift:       5:00 p.m – 7:00 p.m

From the above given timing the students can take either of the shifts depending on your convenience.

3.   Culture Tourist Guiding Course:

The next batch culture guiding course will be starting from December 1st 2018, it’s of 53 days course. The undergoing guide trainees will be given one month free Chinese language course or Buddhism course. It is because, “as per our detailed research in the market many guide trainees are failed in practical and to get through in it Buddhism knowledge is the must”.

For the one who want to take Chinese language course will be awarded a certificate of semi basic in Chinese language.

However, both the courses are optional and its not mandatory. Therefore, if you want to take the course than you can opt for it and vice versa.

The given tuition will be as follows:

Basic Level 2: The basic level 2, course consists of total training duration of 6 weeks * 2:30 hours a day on weekdays(Monday to Friday). Master more than 307 basic vocabularies, 443 words, learning 77 new characters in writing and 43 sentence structures.

Lay a foundation of knowledge about Chinese Mandarin language and basic culture. The main objective of the course is to achieve learning of basic necessary vocabulary, Dharma words, simple verbs and sentence structures, and comfortably communicate as quickly as possible such as self introduction, receiving guests, at airport, hotel, restaurants, shops, temples, museum etc.

  1. Chinese Mandarin Intermediate Level

Mandarin practical Audio-Visual materials consists (b)(volume 1)

So, after 3 months of basic study the intermediate level course consists of total training duration of 12 weeks * 2:30 hours per day on weekdays (Monday to Friday). Master more than 450 vocabularies, 453 words, learning 78 new character writing and 125 sentence structures.

  1. Chinese Mandarin Advance Level(volume 2) and Iconography

The Advance level and Iconography course consists of total training duration of

16 weeks * 2:30 hours per day on weekdays (Monday to Friday).

The main textbook written in 723 words grammar places.

Introduce grammar points used in the article within 67.

Textbook presentation, idioms and slang along with “read and talk to discuss culture appreciation” and other projects.

About Khenpo Ugyen Tashi (PhD in Tibetan Buddhism )

Khenpo Ugyen Tashi has completed his studies successfully from Zhemgang Monastery and  Takse  Ningma Higher Buddhist Research Centre (Gangtok Sikkim, India) and also awarded the rank of Khenpo (PhD in Tibetan Buddhist).

Khenpo also studied Chinese speaking and writing step by step,and translation skill from Tibetan to Chinese, Chinese religions and computer program in Dharma Drum Mountain University, Taipei (Taiwan) for the period of 6 years.
